"What profession to choose for life?" …The question arises? Aren't you really a fridge then!?

I will ask each of my subscribers: What is the biggest problem you have? Then... I keep on communicating.

One of the most common problems is not knowing what to do in life. What kind of studies or profession to choose. What business to start or not to start?

The answer is stranger than you might think out of habit.

Hi, Daniel,

I found your blog quite by accident on Facebook. I don't know why, but I was interested in what you write about, so I thought - why not subscribe, I don't lose anything, and maybe it will help me to look at life in a different way, to change my attitude and my thinking (which is usually very pessimistic 😀 ).

And as for the troubles that plague me... I'm frustrated with life, even though I'm still only 22 years old, and I'm the kind of person who always complains about everything, looks at everything negatively, gets nervous quickly and takes everything deeply to heart. I want to change these bad qualities...I often feel lonely because I've been separated from my boyfriend for almost a year now, but it's still very hard, sad...I try to go on living, but sometimes I just don't feel like it...I don't know how to enjoy life, but I'd like to learn how to do it.

I look forward to your letter, thank you very much for your time.

Whoo! Good, [Censored]!

And what do you do during your days? And what are your plans for the future?

I ask because I am beginning to notice that we often discover the ability to enjoy our daily routine only when we realise that we are in control of our daily routine and that we have real, positive plans for the future. What about you? 🙂

Yours sincerely,
Daniel

Hi, Daniel. I'm glad you replied to my email : )

I'm currently studying food technology at college and I'm already in my final year, which is the point where I have to decide whether I want to pursue this field or not. But the problem is that I still don't know if I like it and if I would like to do this job.

In addition to my studies, I also draw in my spare time, mostly portraits of people. I would like my work to be noticed by someone someday, but so far my drawings are only seen by a small circle of Facebook friends... 😀 😀

So I'm very lost and it's hard for me to plan my future when I still don't know exactly what I want.

By the way, my real name is [Censored], but since I don't like it very much, my friends and family call me [Censored] or [Censored] 🙂

Waiting for your letter

[Censored],

Who are you? The fridge?

Because when you read "deciding whether to make this my life's work", it seems like you are. That you're a goddamn fridge, made in a factory, and now they're about to tell you whether you're going to be a family fridge or a restaurant fridge.

What kind of damn person in your circle chose what they wanted to do, and that has worked throughout their life?

Please, if you know one, tell me. I will want to meet you, because you are not talking to a human being, you are talking to an artificial intelligence. 😀
There is no such thing as an "important life choice". What do you know about what will happen in the future? What the hell do you know? Did you have any idea that I was going to swear in the last sentence? And, hey, the day after tomorrow, when you're crossing the pedestrian crossing, you'll be run over by a lunatic driving a BMW, you'll have your legs broken and... Well, or not. Probably not, but there is a chance.

[Censored], your life is meaningless. You will die. Your work will be forgotten and you will be despised by your grandchildren because they will not understand you, as they might not understand the latest technology of the time. All your current friends will die and that is life.

Why are you trying to define it and lie to yourself about what will happen?

...Maybe it's better to relax a little? And do what's important to you right now?

Continue with college. And draw. And show it not to a friend, but... Maybe on a Facebook group? Or draw your grandmother, who also once, when she was very young, thought that, oooo, what a life will be like, but saw that it turned out very different?

But now you are alive. Today.

And you are not a fridge. ...Aren't you?

yours
Daniel

And then I turn my attention to you, reader. Who are you? Do you live according to how you would like to live, or according to what you are planning?

...Your plans won't come true. And that's not a curse - it's just inevitable.

What will you do for the future? Now?
