When asked about his ambitions in life, Andrius would have replied that he did not care about becoming rich, but he would have been happy if one day his name would have appeared next to the names of these giants of science.
Once, at the age of ten, a few weeks after his father's death, he made a list of his dreams he wanted to achieve:
a) become a respected scientist;
b) to make the world a better place than it was when he was born;
c) extend human life expectancy;
d) take care of your mother;
e) end human suffering;
f) be a good parent.
When Andrius felt depressed, he would go through the list. As a teenager, he transferred it from his red notebook to his computer, and then from one computer to another.
Reading this list always made Andrius smile and smile back.
I am thirty-six years old and I have not yet implemented any of the points. Why? Why?
What do you think?
