Have you ever encountered such a situation when, for example, you thought of buying a car, you chose the model, color of the car. The next day you go to town and you only see cars of that model and you start seeing more and more of them?

Or another case - you start to dislike smokers. And they appear everywhere: everyone smokes everywhere, you have to close the windows at work, because some citizens smoke on the floor below, and the stairwell always smells of cigarettes.

It's a bit of a comical situation, but that's how we are. What we focus on is what we begin to notice.

There is no way to hide from it, what we think will always be reflected in the world.

…But here is the beautiful part of this law – the attention reflected in the world will always show us our inner self. What we like and what we don't like will be clearly shown.

Where does your attention go?

Most of us do not control our attention at all, it is in a completely automatic mode. We watch what the TV shows, what links our friends showed us on the Internet, we read such information.

This is how we program ourselves little by little and we don't think that we are doing it.

I heard a phrase on television and in the media that "good news is bad news". And it's true, few people share the good news they hear in the press, it's usually the worst.

Proverbially: "If you want to control the crowd, always keep it between the emotions of fear and guilt, then it will always listen to you."

Excessive preoccupation with world and national news is a good or bad thing, I leave it to you to decide.

What are you thankful for?

Let's go back to the second part of the article - gratitude. In my circle of friends, I have one girl I know who changed her life to be ultra positive with big bursts of happiness every day.

She did only one simple exercise in her life - gratitude. And it can be used for that Gratitude Journal (here's my review).

The method was simple – every day you get up in the morning and devote at least 15 minutes to gratitude, during which you write in a notebook everything you are grateful for in this life.

At the end of the day (and if you can, in the middle of the day), you also take 15 minutes and write down what was nice and great during the day, for which you can be thankful.

And yes, you have a lot to be thankful for. Even if it's the hardest time in your life. Thanks don't have to be huge!

And what do you think? In a matter of weeks, this girl's life has completely changed. She couldn't believe how she hadn't noticed this goodness before, now gratitude has become a habit!

Because our minds are creative, whatever we focus on grows. This is a great example of creating a positive life.

Let's focus on the positives.
