A letter to an ex-girlfriend before leaving for another country

Before I go to [hidden], I want to tell you that I recognise that it was worth it for us to part. I know it didn't seem like it before, but I knew it was the right decision. Thank you for accepting it without waiting for me.

I also want to apologise for the way I interacted with you in [disguise] and on my return from it. I know that some of my actions and words hurt you and I still regret them.

By the way, there are some incredible changes going on in my life at the moment, but that's for another time... For now, I believe that space and time apart will be useful for both of us.
