Written: <b>95<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.15em;\">Brno in the Czech Republic is a city afraid of pigeons. Or maybe it hates them. I'm not sure, but just after a short stay in this city I noticed that...<\/span><\/p>\n<p>...There are so many anti-pigeon measures in the city that there are no birds left at all.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Metal spikes on window sills and on each pole;<\/li>\n<li>Window stickers in the shape of a predator;<\/li>\n<li>And every place where birds could land is protected;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Brno is a city without birds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Living in Kaunas, it is common to see starlings or thrushes even in the middle of the city (not to mention tits, sparrows, ducks, gulls and pigeons).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Living in Brno, you won't see a single bird.
